Monthly Buzz Index methodology – We have tried to keep the methodology simple!

1. Select a basket of Tier 1 councils – Edinburgh, Sheffield, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, Westminster, Leeds, Cardiff, Belfast, Kent, Essex, Hampshire.
2. Monitor activity across the following channels – News, Blog, Forum, Video, Twitter, Other
3. See how events, reactions and choice of communications channels alter on a monthly basis.
